Congratulations to Team Chevy, Team Arrow McLaren, Team Penske, Pato O’Ward and Scott McLaughlin on their race wins on the return to the Milwaukee Mile. Both races were enthralling with plenty of overtakes and cautions, and results have made for a very interesting end of season race at Nashville in two weeks’ time.
Race 1 saw a clean sweep on the podium for Team Chevy with Pato O’Ward, Will Power and Conor Daly. Congratulations to Conor Daly who put JHR on the podium for the first time. Pato O’Ward lead the field for 133 laps out of 250 and kept Will Power at bay for most of the race.
Race 2 saw McLaughlin see off both Scott Dixon and Colton Herta to claim his 3rd win of the season, his last also being on an Oval. Pit stops and strategies came in to play in this race with ill-timed cautions. McLaughlin pitted 6 times against both Honda’s 5 pitstops.
Roll on the last race of the season in Nashville. Good Luck Team Chevy.
