2022 IndyCar Championship

Will Power clinched his second IndyCar drivers’ Championship at the Laguna Seca circuit in Monetery CA. During the 2022 season Power also became the IndyCar all time pole position holder with 68 poles surpassing the long-time record held by Mario Andretti. The 2022 Championship win was Ilmor’s 21st Drivers and 23rd Engine Manufacturers Championship in IndyCar and the season saw the company surpass 350 race wins in all IndyCar competitions.
