10 Year Anniversary

All Ilmor employees were handed die cast models of the 2.2L Chevrolet IndyCar engine to celebrate its 10-year anniversary. Technical Director Mario Illien and Managing Director Steve O’Connor were on hand to personally give out the models to all employees as a token of thanks for all their hard work and effort over the years. During the 10 years the engine has been successful in winning 106 races, 4 Indy 500 wins, 6 Drivers and 7 Manufactures championships.
